Massage for Golfers in Paphos

With Aphrodite Hills, Minthis, Secret Valley and Elea within half an hour, Paphos has more year-round golfers per head than almost anywhere in Europe — many of them retired, playing three or four rounds a week.

Very professional and effective massage, can really tell Christian is very experienced and understands exactly where to apply pressure and for how long. One of the best massage experiences I’ve had and I’m feeling fantastic after it. Highly recommend Christian!

We needed a sports injury specialist at short notice whilst on holiday in Paphos. I messaged in the morning and he came to our villa same day with all the equipment, bed etc and did an excellent job. Great service, paid via Apple Pay too, even easier!

I had a 90 minute massage from Christian, and it was absolutely amazing. We really dug deep resolving many muscle knots that has been with me for a long time. If you’re in Paphos and want a massage, I highly recommend!

Knowledgeable and professional. You can tell immediately that he has real expertise — precise technique, great pressure, and he focuses on the areas that actually need work. Left feeling genuinely better. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience with the massage therapy in Paphos. The deep tissue treatment was both relaxing and healing, and I left with noticeably less pain. Professional, calming, and highly effective — I truly recommend it to anyone looking for quality massage therapy in Paphos.

I had a great experience with Christian. I chose the deep tissue sports massage and it was fantastic—just be patient, as the full results are felt a few days later. It is 100% worth it, especially if you have back issues.

About massage for golfers in Paphos

The swing is a violent, one-sided rotation repeated hundreds of times, and the body keeps score: a stiff thoracic spine, a lead-side hip and low back that ache after 18, and the medial elbow. I treat golfers at home across the district and at the villa developments around the courses.

Where it hurts

What golf does to the body.

  • Thoracic spine and rotation

When the mid-back cannot rotate, the low back and shoulders do it instead — and complain.

    Treatment: Deep Tissue
  • Lead-side hip and low back

The lead hip absorbs the deceleration of every swing; the QL and glute med on that side tighten and the low back follows.

    Treatment: Myofascial Release
  • Golfer’s elbow (medial epicondyle)

Forearm flexors overloaded by grip and impact; the knots sit in the flexor mass, not just at the elbow.

    Treatment: Trigger Point
  • Neck and shoulders

Head kept still through a rotating swing loads the neck; the trail shoulder does the reaching.

    Treatment: Trigger Point

Planning

How I would plan it.

  1. 1

Regular players: a session every 3–4 weeks keeps rotation and the lead side clear.

  2. 2

A specific problem — elbow, back — usually clears over 2–4 sessions with homework between.

  3. 3

Before a competition: a lighter session 2–3 days out.

Before an event

Before a competition or a big weekend: light and mobilising, 2–3 days before.

After an event

After a heavy week: recovery work within a couple of days.

Golf is year-round in Paphos; the courses are busiest October–May.

Pricing

What a session costs.

Travel anywhere in the Paphos district is included in the session price — no call-out fee. Beyond the district — Polis, Latchi, the Limassol side — is usually possible too. Ask, and I will quote any travel time before you commit.

What this is — and what it is not

  • This is clinical treatment, not a spa or adult service.
  • You stay covered except for the area being worked on, and you undress only to your own comfort.
  • You are welcome to have a partner, friend or family member present — many clients do.
  • Fresh linens for every client, the table is sanitised between sessions, and hands are washed on arrival.
  • Cash or bank transfer after the session. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your session.

Questions

Golfers ask.

Can massage help golfer’s elbow?
Often, yes — the pain sits at the elbow but the tight, overloaded tissue is the forearm flexor mass and the shoulder above it. Trigger point and deep-tissue work plus a couple of loading exercises; persistent cases should also see a doctor or physio.
Do you come to the villas around Aphrodite Hills or Minthis?
Yes — both are in the Paphos district, so travel is included in the session price with no call-out fee. Give me the villa name or a pin and I will confirm a time.
How soon before a round can I have a session?
Two to three days before is ideal for anything deep. Same-day should be light only.
