Who you’re booking

Ten years of clinical practice. One therapist, every time.

I’m Chris, massage therapist & body mechanics specialist, based in Chlorakas and working across the Paphos district. 10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s in Physical Education from Norway. Deep tissue, sports, relaxing and prenatal massage at your home in Paphos.

This is a one-man practice on purpose. You message me, I answer; I treat you, I remember what we did last time; and if the pain has not changed, that is on me. I work in English and Norwegian.

In a spa, you’re a slot. With me, you’re my reputation.

How I work

How I work: root cause, not band-aid.

No band-aid solutions. We find the structure that is actually holding the problem, and work on that.

Almost everything I do is hands-on: forearms, thumbs and elbows, working through the deeper layers of muscle and the fascia around them at a pressure you can breathe through. What makes the difference is not how hard it is but where it is aimed, which is why every session starts with an assessment — how you move, where it stops, what compensates — and why I then treat what I found rather than what hurts by default. Where a restriction is deep, long-standing and has already survived several rounds of hands-on work, I add a mechanical device to hold a depth and consistency hands cannot sustain for a full hour. That is a specialisation, not the standard session, and it is always steered by hands reading the tissue. Because a session is an hour a week at most, you leave with two or three minutes of homework that keeps the change from sliding back. And if what you actually want is a calm, unhurried hour, book a relaxing massage — that is a real treatment here, not a consolation prize.

In your home

What a session is — and isn’t.

This is clinical treatment, not a spa or adult service.

  • You stay covered except for the area being worked on, and you undress only to your own comfort.
  • You are welcome to have a partner, friend or family member present — many clients do.
  • Fresh linens for every client, the table is sanitised between sessions, and hands are washed on arrival.
  • The session starts with a short assessment and you can stop or adjust the pressure at any point.

Before you book

  1. What I bring

A professional treatment table, fresh linens and oils — and the deep-tissue device when a session calls for it. You provide nothing but a bit of floor space.

  2. Space needed

About 2 × 2 metres of clear floor — a living room, bedroom, terrace or hotel room all work. Set-up takes around ten minutes.

  3. How a session runs

A short assessment to find what is actually causing the problem, the treatment itself, then simple homework so the change holds between sessions.

  4. Does it hurt?

Deep-tissue work is firm and you will feel it, but it is never a contest. Pressure is adjusted to you throughout and you can stop at any time.

  5. Aftercare

Drink water, move gently, and expect some tenderness for a day or two after deep work — that is normal and passes.

  6. Payment and cancellation

Cash or bank transfer after the session. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your session.

Very professional and effective massage, can really tell Christian is very experienced and understands exactly where to apply pressure and for how long. One of the best massage experiences I’ve had and I’m feeling fantastic after it. Highly recommend Christian!

We needed a sports injury specialist at short notice whilst on holiday in Paphos. I messaged in the morning and he came to our villa same day with all the equipment, bed etc and did an excellent job. Great service, paid via Apple Pay too, even easier!

I had a 90 minute massage from Christian, and it was absolutely amazing. We really dug deep resolving many muscle knots that has been with me for a long time. If you’re in Paphos and want a massage, I highly recommend!

Knowledgeable and professional. You can tell immediately that he has real expertise — precise technique, great pressure, and he focuses on the areas that actually need work. Left feeling genuinely better. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience with Christian. I chose the deep tissue sports massage and it was fantastic—just be patient, as the full results are felt a few days later. It is 100% worth it, especially if you have back issues.

Treatments I specialise in

Every treatment costs the same and shares one method underneath: assessment, treatment, homework. The right one is usually chosen after the assessment rather than before it — so if you are unsure, book deep tissue and we will take it from there.

Deep tissue vs Swedish massage: which one do you need?

Deep tissue vs Swedish massage comes down to purpose. Swedish is for relaxation and general tension; deep tissue is a slower, more specific treatment for chronic tightness and restricted movement. Choose by problem, not by pressure.

Sports massage vs deep tissue: which do you need

Sports massage vs deep tissue is mostly a question of purpose, not pressure. Sports massage prepares and recovers a training body; deep tissue works slowly into chronic restriction. Many people in Paphos need a blend of both.
